A Program Designed Around the Student
Advanced students vary considerably in preparation, pace, interests, and academic goals. For that reason, the Advanced Mathematics Program is designed to provide a more individualized experience than a conventional grade-level course.
Students may receive one-on-one instruction or participate in a very small seminar with others who have comparable mathematical preparation. Course content, pacing, assignments, and expectations are adjusted to provide appropriate challenge while preserving depth and coherence.
Enrollment begins with a placement conversation so that the instructional format and course of study can be matched to the student’s needs.

Instructional Formats
Students may participate through:
Individual Instruction
One-on-one courses tailored to the student’s preparation, pace, and goals.
Very Small Seminars
Small groups of students with comparable mathematical readiness and interests.
Focused or Independent Study
Specialized study in subjects such as proof, set theory, number theory, linear algebra, analysis, or topology.
The most appropriate format is recommended during the placement conversation.

Scheduling
Courses are scheduled directly with each family.
Depending on the course and instructional format, students may meet once or twice per week. Session length, course duration, and workload are determined by the student’s level and goals.
Instruction may be offered in person, online, or through a combination of both, subject to availability.

Tuition
Courses are offered in eight-week sessions.
Private Instruction — $600
Eight weekly 60-minute sessions of individualized instruction.
Group Sessions — $400 per student
Eight weekly 60-minute sessions for three to six students with comparable mathematical preparation.
The initial placement conversation is complimentary. There is no enrollment fee.
Payment arrangements may be discussed before the course begins.
Tuition is the same across all three course tracks; pricing is based on the instructional format.

Placement and Enrollment
Enrollment begins with a complimentary conversation about the student’s mathematical background, current coursework, interests, and goals.
Placement may also include a brief assessment or review of previous work. Once the appropriate course and format are selected, the family receives scheduling and enrollment information.
Students may enroll in a single eight-week course and continue into additional sessions as appropriate.
