Description of Community Chores Program In our Community Chores Program, high school students will dedicate time each week to assist elderly and disabled members of our community with various household tasks. These chores include washing cars, pulling weeds, mowing lawns, and other necessary tasks that the elderly or disabled may find difficult to do on their own.
Purpose: The purpose of this program is twofold. First, it provides much-needed assistance to elderly and disabled community members, ensuring their homes and surroundings are well-maintained and safe. Second, it offers students a meaningful way to engage with their community, developing a strong sense of responsibility and compassion through direct service to others.
